    EnerNOC, an Enel group company, has an immediate need for an Executive Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of our CEO and other key Executives. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to leverage his or her positive attitude, sense of urgency, and innate problem-solving abilities in support of a company that is poised to make a viable impact on the energy industry and the world at large. Through dedication and resourcefulness, the Executive Assistant will interact with a variety of departments and serve as EnerNOC’s ambassador to a wide range of VIPs – customers and internal stakeholders alike.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides advanced administrative support to CEO and other key executives, including but not limited to:
      • responding on behalf of the executive leadership to written and electronic communication,
      • screening mail and telephone calls,
      • managing active calendars, including scheduling meetings, phone calls and remote video conferences,
      • booking and managing heavy travel,
      • coordinating meetings, both internal and external, including departmental and all company meetings,
      • preparing materials needed by the executive for conferences, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.
      • processing expense reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
    • Handles materials of a highly confidential and time sensitive nature, as well as a variety of complex situations involving clerical/administrative functions of the office on behalf of the executives.
    • Uses considerable judgment and initiative to determine the appropriate approach/action to take in non-routine situations.
    • Interprets and adapts to guidelines, precedents and practices.
    • Contacts various company personnel at all levels to collect information and prepare reports.
    • Requires minimal direction, and within established guidelines, makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling work.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.
    • May direct and lead the work of others.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience supporting C-level executives.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.
    • Proven organization skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility, accessibility, and willingness to lend varying degrees of support when required.
    • Ability to accept constructive criticism and apply feedback to enhance the quality of output.
    • Proactive, resourceful, and efficient attitude.
    • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
    • Physical Activities: Talking, hearing, near acuity, handling and typing.
    • Mental Functions: Comparing, copying, calculating, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.This is a sedentary position, involving significant sitting, but can include some standing and walking. May exert up to 10 lbs occasionally, but usually negligible force is necessary.
