  • Overview

      Under direction of the Head of PP&CC NA and of the Project Manager, the Site Scheduler is responsible for defining/monitoring the initial construction schedule taking into account approved targets and constraints, analyzing data, tracking construction progress, calculating deviations vs baseline, analyzing  construction critical path and denoting any risk of delays through providing reporting documentation, effectively communicating, interacting, and coordinating with project team and contractors; will facilitate effective coordination with the site team and the office team.


    This position will work with the E&C project team at the local construction site in order to:

    • Review the initial construction plan (according to the approved targets) and with reference to the permit, design, supply & logistic and construction activity constraints received by the Project Planner;
    • Monitor a day by day construction time schedule for the site coordination taking into account: the quantities to complete the works, the productivity and the man power;
    • Check if the construction time schedules prepared by the contractors are aligned with the requested time schedule;
    • Track construction progress and highlight any risk of potential delays to the PM, the Project Planner (PP), the Cost Controller (CC) and the Site Manager (SM)
    • Analyze and update the critical path of the construction schedule with the site team in order to anticipate any potential risks of delay;
    • Together with the site team, forecast the expected quantities to complete the works and support PM, CC to update the CAPEX curve of the construction contracts
    • Provide the Project Management, the Project Planning & Cost Control and the Construction units with a periodical Planned Vs Actual analysis measured against the Late and the Early Baselines, as well as possible drivers and actions of improvement;
    • Provide updated information for periodical reporting;
    • Interface with all the project team members and contractors onsite in order to collect the most accurate information on project activities
    • Contribute to the growth and development of the overall Project Planner Best Practices
