  • Overview

    Reporting to the Construction Site Manager the position is responsible for supervising all electrical work performed on-site from construction and installation to commissioning for a renewable power plant.


    • Perform and supervise all kinds of electrical works during the construction of renewable power plant (photovoltaic, biomass, geothermal, Hydro, wind)
    • Prepare and submit daily site activity reports to construction site manager
    • Ensures the plant construction work is performed in accordance with erection schedules and project documents, quality & safety procedures, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
    • Monitors equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor, ensuring equipment and manpower are adequate and the subcontractor work performed conforms to design documents.


    • Problem solving, time management and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Strong oral and written communication
    • Good interpersonal skills that serve to form effective working relationships with other individuals and departments
    • Knowledge of Method Statement/Work Procedure preparation in technical and field coordination
    • Knowledgeable of metric methods to track work volume/progress of contracted work
    • Ability to implement, apply and promote Health & Safety best practices
    • International experience
    • Must have knowledge and understanding of all electrical codes in accordance with N.E.R.C,NEC,IEEE,NFPA,NESC and all applicable standards to assure design compliance.
    • BS, Engineering or equivalent significant experience
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in related field
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; and AutoCAD
    • Flexibility in working hours and working location to meet the needs of the job
    • Knowledge of related code, standards.
    • Standard Drivers’ License
    • Substation/Collection High Voltage Systems Knowledge
