    EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response (DR) and energy management software (EMS), has an immediate need for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our world-class organization. The role will focus on building and maintaining web applications and services in support of our energy platform.  The ideal candidate will have experience building modern web applications (AngularJS, React, etc) and services (node.js, Java) and knowledge in testing and deployment automation tools, frameworks and approaches.


    Design, develop & deliver full stack web applications to enable multiple global product lines

    Communicate progress to business & technical stakeholders throughout solution lifecycles

    Write well-documented and tested code to agreed architectural standards

    Contribute to load, soak and QA testing to deliver quality solutions (and keep them that way)


    BS in Computer Science or comparable area
    3+ years software development experience
    Fluency in Java, JavaScript (node.js), Scala or similar
    Experience building modern web applications using AngularJS, React or similar
    Experience with microservices/SOA architectures
    Experience building RESTful APIs
    Knowledge of the AWS service stack (e.g. Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway, AWS EC2, RDS, etc) and associated tooling
    Ability to learn new technologies & paradigms as required
    Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

    ·         Experience working with a variety of development patterns and  technologies

    ·         A track record of continuous skills enhancement and technical development

    ·         Experience with Test Driven Development and testing automation tools

    ·         Experience with DevOps and automation tools (Jenkins, Terraform)

    ·         Identity and Access Management exposure

    ·         NoSQL database exposure

    ·         Graph database exposure
