  • Overview

    This position supports the preparation of periodic financial statements, the maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.  This role will directly report to the Manager, Consolidation and have an added responsibility to the Manager, Financial Reporting


    Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:

    • Supporting the preparation of the consolidation of the IFRS financial statements in the reporting system PRIMO (Oracle product)
    • Assigning cash flows to specific transactions
    • Key “go between” with Planning and Control and Administration
    • Provide audit support to two sets of external auditors as needed
    • Creating external audit reports included required disclosures as needed
    • Prepare complex calculations as deemed necessary
    • Creating fluctuation analysis
    • Completing budget to actual fluctuations for external investors
    • Supporting the completion of a manual IFRS consolidation (in addition to the electronic consolidation mentioned above
    • Supporting the completion of a consolidating cash flow statement


    • Bachelor’s Degree, with a concentration in Accounting required
    • 2-3 years relevant accounting experience and/or audit experience
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS asset accounting principles / differences
    • Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel
    • Superior organizational and communication skills
