    EnerNOC, a leading provider of energy intelligence solutions, has an immediate need for a Software Program Manager to join our world-class Engineering organization.  Reporting to the Director of Engineering, Operations and Quality in Boston, MA, the Project Manager will play a vital role in leading project teams responsible for architecting, designing, building, testing and maintaining our state-of-the-art software product suite. This individual will serve as a key contributor within Engineering and will be a self-starting, results driven worker responsible for driving and delivering high quality products on time and within budget.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:



    • Oversee the Software Project Management team

    • Own and manage all software development project charters, plans and schedules from start to finish, including organization of requirements and architecture, team resourcing and implementing execution plans

    • Work closely with Product Management and Technical Leadership to ensure alignment of business goals, technical approach, schedules and project delivery plan. Socialize these goals and project plans with the broader global teams

    • Proactively communicate project status to the Leadership Team

    • Play the role of EnerNOC’s Agile Coach and drive process improvements across the Engineering and Product teams

    • Proactively anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and communicate tradeoffs across the various teams to ensure an optimal project outcome

    • Manage project time tracking and budget to ensure accurate record keeping.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:



    • Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

    • Minimum of 5 years working within software development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably with some time spent as a technical contributor

    • Minimum of 3 years management experience

    • Experience as a Scrum Master. Scrum and PMP Certification

    • Must be a strong and focused team player and a consensus builder.


    Desired Qualifications:



    • Scaled Agiled Framework experience.
