This position leads work on energy policy in Canada for one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies. Regulatory and Institutional Affairs is the unit within EGP-NA responsible for policy analysis and reporting, advocacy before federal and state/provincial governments, and participation within relevant industry associations.
The position’s initial focus will be tracking federal policy developments and engagement within the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, where third party-owned wind projects are currently under development. EGP-NA has two wind projects currently under development in Alberta.
The Manager position will report to the Head of Regulatory and Institutional Affairs and will work in partnership with other staff from the Regulatory and Institutional Affairs, Business Development, Energy Management, Operations and Maintenance, Engineering and Construction, Sustainability, and Communications Departments. The Manager will also coordinate with staff from other Enel business lines, including Enel X (EnerNOC).
Represent EGP-NA within trade associations and coalitions.
