  • Overview

    This position is responsible for Maintenance Planning of all assets assigned to the Wind Technology portfolio, focusing on the creation of the necessary documentation and SAP PM planning required maximizing power generation, operational efficiency and overall plant availability fleet wide.

    Responsibilities

    •  Responsible to develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all plants assigned.

    •  Responsible to share the planned outage plan with the Control Room.

    •  Responsible to promptly plan a Maintenance Order to satisfy a Request for Maintenance (SAP Notification) in the scope of Corrective Maintenance.

    •  Responsible to collect the planned maintenance costs in the next year’s budget according to the Company’s Controlling Model.

    •  Responsible to collect the resource needs for the maintenance activities with the Purchasing Specialist in support of contract management, and the Materials Manager for the management of inventory levels.

    •  Assist in Budgeting process, working with budget support programs in the development of the technology’s budget and plan; Both Op-Ex and Cap-Ex budgets.

    •  Work in SAP PM for the creation and modification of Maintenance Plans, Notifications and Work Orders along with other transactions in support of planned activities for the plants assigned.

    •  Work with Tech Support Manager in the continued development and updating of all Health Status files, meeting on a weekly basis.

    •  Assist with establishing contract requirement work scopes with vendors performing scheduled, unscheduled (out of scope), or main component exchanges, as well as with procurement planning

    •  Coordinate and facilitate the involvement of necessary technical staff in support of procurement and purchasing reviewing of stock breakage risks, report on materials with abnormally high failure rates, and support RCAs.

    •  Work with Tech support Mgr. and O&M Manager in the development and review of Work Scopes and vendor proposals, for all major corrective activities.

    •  Support the Material Manager in the definition of the stock level for the different spare parts, and any eventual seasonal variance

    •  Assist Materials Management audits as needed

    •  Assist the Logistics Specialist with complete ZSSP component reporting, between O&M and AFC

    •  Report on all material outages and develop a plan/schedule to RTS to be shared with Wind Management team on a weekly basis

    •  Any special projects or initiatives assigned by Central or Local Management Team

    •  Interface with Operations Support for any issue relevant to plant performance analysis to include the development of any action plans.

    •  Interface with Control Room Manager on Plant Operations and Maintenance

    •  Interface with Logistics and Purchasing Specialists in support of any procurement actions as required to support the Wind group

    •  Support Electrical Team and their outage schedules, to preform minor maintenance scheduling during scheduled outages.

    •  Interface with the Technology Director and Controlling Department for the Budget

    •  Support Logistics Specialist and AFC in ZSSP process and materials management and/or movements

    •  Contract administration support

    •  Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    •  Bachelor’s degree

    •  Minimum of 5 years of related experience with knowledge of site equipment and maintenance activities

    •  Competence in use of personal computer for word processing, spreadsheets, project scheduling, photo processing, and e-mail reporting.

    •  Ability to work as part of a team and involve others in decisions when appropriate

    •  Ability to take initiative in problem solving

    •  Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required

    •  Strong computer skills with experience on the MS suite including Word, Excel and MS Project.  Strong with SAP, SAP PM and Visio a plus

    •  Strong ability in scheduling and planning and the flexibility to maintain such as conditions change

    •  Mental Functions:  Comparing, copying, calculating, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.

    •  Travel up to 40%

    •  Ability to work independently

    •  Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed

    •  Knowledge and understanding of budgeting
