This position is responsible for field coordination and execution of mechanical maintenance and repairs, as well as Capex work throughout assigned region. This work will include the management of both internal and external resources as project manager acting under the supervision of the Regional Supervisor.
• Serve as a local leader in working safely and within all local, state federal and company guidelines
• Work with Planners to coordinate, track and manage mechanical maintenance activities performed by third party providers
• Lead troubleshooting and evaluation of mechanical equipment for assigned region including the development of the associated documentation as defined by the Technical Services Group.
• In coordination with the Regional Supervisor and Planners participate in project planning ensuring – access to the necessary plant level information and site conditions to others.
• Perform onsite work and local project management in the implementation of Routine and Reoccurring Maintenance, Major Repairs and Capex for Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Activities.
• Evaluate equipment failures with the Engineering team and Reginal Supervisor for methods or procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
• Support in the budgeting process as well as for the Health Status Forms with the Technical Services Group for the region assigned
• Provide support for operations as required by Regional Supervisor, including but not limited to data collection, and daily rounds/inspections
• Interface with Regional Supervisor, Technical Services for the creation and the implementation of the yearly and 5 year maintenance plans.
• Interface with Technical Services for any issue relevant to plant performance or Dam Safety to include inspections and the implementation of any action and or repair plan.
• Interface with Purchasing & Logistics in support of any procurement actions as required to support the region
