    This position is responsible for Maintenance Planning using SAP PM, the Enterprise system utilized by Enel Green Power North America (EGPNA) in the management of all assets assigned.  The job focus will be the creation, maintenance and updating of the necessary planning, scheduling and documentation required to maximize generation and availability.  This person will serve as primary interface for all planning and schedules with Regional Staff, Engineering and Purchasing & Logistics.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in SAP PM for the creation and modification of Maintenance Plans, Work Schedules, Notifications and Work Orders along with other transactions in support of all activities for the plants assigned, in accordance with EGPNA Maintenance Processes.
    • Responsible to lead the planning for all facilities assigned and is the primary owner of the regional planning, including working to develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules in SAP and Microsoft Project.
    • Be a primary support for the budgeting process, both Capex & Opex, by use of SAP and other support programs, through plans built in SAP, which contain all necessary labor, materials, inventory, 3rd party support, and duration estimates.
    • Primary creator of all Work Orders for both budgeted and unbudgeted work, whether Opex, Capex, or Repair work for the assets assigned.
    • Primary Liaison with the Regional Staff and Engineering in the development of work plan and scheduling, for both budgeted and unbudgeted work.
    • Work with Site Manager to ensure plans are updated in real time with all necessary resources (manpower, inventory, funding, vendors and suppliers) available.
    • Develop weekly report on all material outages (longer than 3 days or larger than 5 MW capacity) and develop a plan and schedule to return to service to be shared with Technology Management and Regional Staff.
    • Support and/or lead any special projects or initiatives assigned by Central or Local Management Team.
    • Interface with Operations Support for any issue relevant to plant performance analysis, to include the development of any action plans.
    • Interface with Control Room Manager on Plant Performance and Maintenance activities, including the Outage Plan and outage reporting.
    • Interface with Technical Services in support of any procurement actions as required to support planning within the hydro group.
    • Interface with Regional staff to promote and facilitate effective use of SAP PM in EGPNA Maintenance Processes.
    • Create fund movement requests for submittal to the Regional Manager and Senior Manager of Technical Services.
    • Develop purchasing requests associated with budgeted and unbudgeted work.
    • Coordination and organization of Job Packages for budgeted activities.
    • Assembly of the multiple reports and documents as required;

    • Picking up Notifications and working with the Regional Group and Engineering Technical Services in the development of all Work Orders and Maintenance Plans for the necessary action/recovery
    • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities (TQM & Failure Analysis), create and track resultant Action Plans to include benchmarks and performance indicators.

    Qualifications

    • Experience and Education:
      • High School diploma
      • At least a two year degree in continued education, Bachelors of Science degree preferred 
      • Minimum of 5 years, but 10 preferred, of related experience with knowledge of site equipment and maintenance activities
    • Project management experience desirable
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Attentive to detail
    • Strong ability to learn new processes, systems, and applications
    • Ability to work as part of a team and involve others in decisions when appropriate
    • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
    • Strong computer skills with experience on the MS suite including Word, Excel and MS Project. Strong with MS Project, SAP, SAP PM and Visio a plus
    • Strong ability in scheduling and planning, and the flexibility to maintain such as conditions change
    • Mental Functions: Comparing, copying, calculating, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, communicating, instructing, organizing, planning, discerning, matching, estimating, and interpersonal skills.
    • Travel up to 25% of the time
    • Ability to work independently and to take initiative in problem solving
    • Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed
    • Knowledge and understanding of budgeting
    • Skills and familiarity with Change management and Continuous Improvement preferred.
