  • Overview

    The Construction Technology Engineer is responsible for the implementation of digital tools dedicated to monitor, record, analyze and share information related to the construction processes. The CT Engineer is also responsible for the management of services dedicated to provide supervision staff, on-site and laboratory tests, as well as quality assessments during construction activities.

    Responsibilities

    Drive the “digital transformation” to customize, optimize and improve the site management tools and procedures

    • Manage and provide external services to support the site supervision (site survey, lab and site tests, work supervision, quality assessment, definition of third party requirements); scouting, vendor list, TSs for tenders, strategy for Frame Agreements valid in the Country.
    • Support the implementation of digital platforms developed by EGP to track the construction activities in terms of work progress (PoD, daily trackers, daily inspection reports), schedule and cost, as well as safety, quality and environmental kpi's
    • Ensure the alignment between Site Management requirements and EGP's standards in terms of work reporting: daily, weekly, monthly, close out
    • Facilitate or perform the execution of Construction Cross Checking according to EGP's internal procedures
    • Support the on-site implementation of digital formatted tools for technical inspections through platforms established by EGP's standards
    • Support the use of Smart Material Tracking Tool for deliveries tracking on site (Tablet Software and Code Reader integrated within EGP Platforms)
    • Support the implementation of Remote Construction Systems according to EGP's standards, to monitor site activities by camera, access control, work performances, etc.
    • Ensure the implementation of Site Camp Connectivity Standards
    • Interface with GIS team and manage content in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal

    Qualifications

    • BSc Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering or equivalent
    • 1-4 years of experience in construction activities within the renewables energy industry
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and Project.
    • Strong knowledge of project management digital tools
    • General knowledge of Quality Control process
    • Good communication skills and ability to interact in local and international contexts
    • Ability to work with people from different cultures in a matrix organization. Must be flexible and have strong multi-tasking capabilities
    • Experience abroad will be considered a plus
    • Experience with GIS platforms and ability to manage content a plus
    • Ability to travel locally and abroad when necessary (around 25%)
    • Valid Driver's license
