    The position will be inserted into the "Authorization and Grid Connection Execution Support" unit inside the Project Management unit of the Engineering and Construction function of Enel Green Power as Permitting Engineer with the main task of supporting the Project Leader and Project Managers during the execution of power plant projects for renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and biomass) for permits and connection authorizations for the construction of renewable power plants, through the application of best practices in project management.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a liaison and inter functional support between Business Development and Engineering & Construction Units during the execution phase of Renewable Projects for permits, applying project management best practices.
    • To ensure a detailed and complete knowledge of the local legislation and regulations in terms of permits, in order to produce guidelines and tools for planning, organizing, executing and controlling the related project activities.
    • To support the Project Teams performing risk analysis and defining preventive/corrective actions to be taken with reference to permits, in order to keep the projects on schedule
    • Develop and complete periodical reports in order to monitor and control the activities related to authorizations and permits of different projects
    • Analysis and control the requirement of each permit and to control their milestones to ensure they’re  accomplished during the construction of the power plant
    • To share best practices and lessons learned about authorizations and permits of Power Plants within the Company, locally and worldwide.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; commensurate experience in construction projects including experience in planning, management, coordination and permitting, and design-build work will be considered.
    • 1-3 years of experience in management of projects in Engineering and/or Construction of renewable power plant

    ·         Knowledge of the process to obtain the permits for the construction of a wind/solar power plant in USA (Canada as option)

    ·         Management of permits during the construction of a power plant

    ·         Good communication skills and ability to interact in local and international contexts.

    ·         Ability to work with people from different cultures (colleagues, Public Authorities and Suppliers)

    ·         Project management skills through tools such as typical Gantt chart, risk assessment, responsibility matrix etc.

        ·       Good knowledge of software Excel, Power Point, Word and Project

                 ·       35% of travel required both national and internationally
